Ben

Ben answered the call to enter into full time ministry and began working at Freedom Church in June of 2015. Ben has served as our audio/visual overseer and operator, and most recently served as the Youth Pastor for Nexus Student Ministry. Currently, Ben serves closely alongside Pastor Craig in overseeing the vision of the church, providing leadership to ministries, and pastoral care. Ben leads and cares for all of our LifeGroup leaders, as well as our prayer ministries. In addition, he oversees our MOTION growth track and helps to coach our Youth Director.
Ben has grown up in Lockport, and has also grown up in Faith Tabernacle Church. Pastor Craig was Ben’s Youth Pastor, and Ben was on a team that Pastor Craig led on a mission’s trip to Nicaragua. Through his years in Encounter Youth, Ben met his wife Megan, and they got married on April 2013 at the church. Ben’s wife assists our Children’s Director with Freedom Kids and also assists with Nexus. Ben and his wife are also graduates of the W.I.N.G.S. mentorship program at Elim Fellowship.
In his spare time, Ben enjoys yard work, reading, coffee, and designing graphics – and most of all traveling (having been on several missions trips, and to Israel and most recently, Italy!)
